Hi Bala, great idea for a thread 8-) - yes, I like programming, I mostly use PHP and I find it a great way to create solutions and make them available 24/7 on the web. Greetings, Georg

I've programmed in pascal, c++, java, delphi, matlab, mplab. I like programing because it makes life easier. If i make a 50 line program which does the accounts and such in a couple of minutes it would save many hours and staff labor. And of course the program is reusable. Simply it's efficient.

Several years ago, I started programming out of necessity. Seemed everything was over-priced or missing features I would have found useful. Programming became an alternative I needed. I grew to enjoy it, though.
