What do you think Link Referral will do for you?
"If you think it's going to make you a millionaire I think you may be in the wrong business. No Link Referral is a means of getting traffic. I suppose that out of every 1000 visits to my site from traffic sites I probably get 1 order. I do however get a lot more sites with which I get reciprocal links. These links themselves get me more traffic. I use both Statcounter and Google Analytics to track my visitors and Link Referral and other traffic sites account for about 65% of my visitors. This is not great for business but it does gradually get me up the rankings for my keywords. The tracking software above shows me what keywords are used to get to my site and therefore those that I should be concentrating on. That's what brings me business. I need the traffic for the search engines to take me seriously and that gives me the additional natural traffic which then shows me how to promote those areas which attract the natural traffic. Eventually my natural traffic should overtake the "advertising" (Link Referral & others) traffic. If you think traffic doesn't matter why do the PR3,4,5 and 6 sites still use Link Referral." |

Linkreferral certainly does not give me axtra bussiness, but I do get more traffic, therefore my trafficratings go up, therefore I am going to be higher in the searchengines. I look at a lot of other websites, therefore I learn what to do and not to do. I get input from other people as to what I could do better, and I value that input ( most of the time). So, no it does not give me extra bussiness but I do get a lot of education and learning. Therefore I value linkreferral.

Michael, Where did it say that link referral was going to make you any money? I myself would take the advise of Elisabeth who has been doing this for a long time and happens to be good at this. The rule of thumb is for every 500 clicks you should see at lease one sale, this can only mean you are doing ok, so be HAPPY.

I think the whole idea is to get noticed and Link Referral does just that. I have gotten sales from this and I think before we knock it we need to see for ourselves what others see in improving our site. Just from a few changes it has improved my traffic from your suggestions. Thanks for your help !!

I like link referral for the info i gleen and the reviews (Honest ones) i get. the others I try very hard to ignor and do not review their site. Some day we will all make money if we keep at it. Holidays are coming so we can shop at eachothers sites and help each other. :)

I agree with all of you. I am getting a lot more traffic and I am tring to make the landing page increase their interest enough to where they may click on at least one more page. not too much luck so far but I will keep on trying!~

Most people who get involved with Link Referral is for the increase in traffic. I believe in some cases it does help your site or give you consumers from other sites which are not mainly in line with competition with yours. I got involved for three reasons: 1) Increase traffic, more internet exposure 2) Have my site review for any possible problems or glitches in my lay out like for example, is my site readable if not, I would change color of the font. 3) Mingle with people in the forums to find tips on increasing one's page rank or other subjects in general. I believe Link Referral does serve a purpose and is worth joining for free. You have nothing to loose.

I like getting the reviews and have gotten some very helpful tips to make my sites more appealing to others. I also like surfing other peoples sites because it gives me ideas to improve my sites and finding other like sites to exchange links with.

I've never been under the impression that I was going to make millions in business on the internet; I've always treated it as a chance to pick up some extra income and savings. I like Link Referral because it gives me a chance to learn a lot and also to get traffic and higher ratings on the search engines. If a sale is made to someone from Link Referral, halleuleujah; if not, c'est la vie. Either way, I'm still getting something out of Link Referral and giving something back to others as well.

I like to think of Linkreferral as an exercise in seeing what others are doing and how they have put their sites together with the added benefit of getting a critique of my site. The extra traffic doesn't hurt, and if someone see's something they like and purchase, the 30 minutes or so I spend on the site is definitely worth the time. Have a great day!

Link Referral has created a lot of traffic for me which I appreciate very much. I'm very new to online publishing, and the good reviews that I have gotten help me a lot. I can see what works and what doesn't. Plus I think the forum discussions are helpful.

I'm new at referral marketing, but I think I took this particular one serious because it was professional looking, not flashy. It was sweet getting nice reviews in the beginning too which was a great uplift. I look forward to some fun with you all. I'm curious where is the rule of thumb that we get 500 clicks before a sale? Not fun! I'm also advertising on Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing CPC and that would not be very cost effective it were true. Is that statistic for LinkReferral only or all clicks to our sites?

I'm new here and I joined more for the traffic than the increase in business. Although the two go hand in hand... More traffic increase your search engine stats eventually which will then hopefully lead to relevant traffic rather than unrelated traffic. Any traffic is good traffic to begin with! Sarah

Oh,traffic matters alright and your exactly right in the way you wrote your post.I get lots of traffic from LR too,but few orders,so I am hoping also that my organic traffic will one day be more than LR traffic I'm getting.LR is quality traffic too,it's a shame,I think if we all had more time to stop and look,we'd all be making money.There are some really great sites here!

I'm not looking for the money as much as I'm looking for an increase of traffic to my web site and link referral definitely has done that. I'm also looking for sites that I would like to exchange links with. I'm also trying Blogrush which doesn't require this 5/25 - we'll see how that goes.

It defiitely gets a lot more traffic - but mosty from people who are not interested in buying, but selling so it is unlikely to actually make any money. But is is worth it for te hother benefits such as feedback

In my case I am not selling on my site, it is just a blog of my commentary on whatever hot topic I want to write about, but it gets exposure to my site and I love hearing from other people about my articles, even if they don't agree with me. That's how we grow as people, to listen to constructive advice and opinions from others and use it to further ourselves in whatever manner we choose. So far I have gotten great reviews and wishes of "good luck" and "continue your writing", which is exactly what I wanted to find out....whether anyone else even cared about what I do. Apparantly, they do.
