"The site www.irantio.com in the travel - general category and also listed as a top ten featured site in the Travel Category has been reported by Google as an Attack Site.While visiting this site this morning using FF Browser the Warning Page came up so I investigated the site and this is the Google report pertaining to the site www.iranto.com Google Report : What happened when Google visited this site? Of the 2 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 2 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2009-09-23, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2009-09-23. Malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including agend.ru/. This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS29550 (EUROCONNEX). While I have reported this site to Administration, until the site is removed - please use caution when clicking onto the site." |

I was wondering about reporting sites where I get the yellow warning bar that they want to place an add on on my site. I can't remember the exact words, but it is a security warning. I click out fast.

Wow, I am really upset that sites like this are allowed to continue to operate. Seems to me that the ISP should be held accountable - much the same way that carriers are held accountable for people that use their circuits for fax broadcasting!

Thank you so much for passing on this information, I suppose really here is an ideal place for someone wanting visitors to go to there site if they are intent on damgaing everyone else, we have to be vigilant and look out for each other. Kepp safe.

Excellent point Kath !Yes, LR is a primo place for sites that want to install malware. It is almost impossible for any admin. of a site like LR to actually monitor all sites within a directory. And like you said - we have to be vigilant and look out for each other to keep the LR community as safe as possible.
