Why should i be listed below dead links?

"I am tired of being below dead links, i try my best to increase my ranking and it seems that i stay at the same spot and dead links stay above me, i ask for everyone to report dead links so that are ranking climbs up where it suppose to be and hopefully the admit does something about the dead links. thanks everyone."

Hi Eric,

I agree when it comes to dead links.

In addition I've found that if you visit,

review and favorite other LinkReferral

sites daily as well as post on the forum

it averages out - there are some stronger

days with more traffic and some with less

visits - just be sure to do it daily.

By the way:

Great site - I've reviewed it 8-).

Greetings,

Georg

Even if they're not dead, many stores have no inventory. I don't get why it's so hard to get them removed.

Hi Eric,

I understand your frustration! Having said that, it's time for a dose of reality. Since you became a member on 9/20/09, you've only done two (2) reviews and have only posted a total of six times in the forums (started one post and added comments to five).

Unless you post and complete your 30/5/1/1 every single day, you won't get any closer to the top ten than you are today. In fact, as new members are added, your ranking may even slip further away from the top slots.

I'm not being mean here....I'm trying to get you to realize that for you to move up in the rankings, you have to work at it. I will give you any help and support you require....just get busy and go for it!!! :-)

Mary

PS....EVERYONE: PLEASE report all dead links as many times as you have to....it really is that important!!

Maybe the "cadavers" out there write better reviews than you do? Actually in a way this is true. As Mary pointed out, if you haven't done your work you won't move up. Even if the link is dead....or just sleeping, it's entirely possible the person behind them is doing their work, blithely unaware they are promoting a 404. Don't worry about them, keep at it and it will pay off.

As usual, Mary is spot-on here. You have to do the dailies in order to not only move up in the rankings, but keep that position. LR is not fly-by-night if you're looking for the traffic.

I have to agree with Mary. I know many users who think all they have to do is sign up for this site and that traffic is going to come pouring in. There is nothing free in this world. I personally do not think it is to much to have to do the daily 30/5/1/1 to get helpful feedback and also increase my overall blog traffic.

If you are listed below a site that you think is dead, maybe the owner does not realize this. Many people fail to pay hosting fee then get that. It may be temporary. Just do the things you normally do and increase your rank! You could even pay for it!

One thing i will not do is pay for something i could get for free, sure i probably would get more traffic but there's goes my the profit right, i just started so i need to see some money before i spend it anyways, maybe i will set aside 50% of what i got coming in and see what happens.
