"Tired of the spammers on LR? Place them all here on the "Spammers Wall of Shame".Mary, along with some other LR community members, and I have collaborated in starting this thread to name and shame the spammers and the copy/paste individuals that have taken over the forums and reviews (the General Forum is the exception). The LR reviews and forums are to help webmasters with their sites through complete/helpful reviews and legitimate questions/responses related to the forum category – They are NOT to be used for Spamming, Copy/Pasting, Content Thievery, or Self-Promotion (the exception is the General Forum, where it is allowed). Frustrated with a spammer or copy/paste individual? Well here is your chance to Name and Shame them!!! PLEASE NOTE: If you have received an honest review you do not like/agree with or a score that is lower than you feel you deserve, that is NOT spam. It is just a review from someone that felt your site could be better and/or that didn't believe your site was equal to a 10. A low mark with glowing words is NOT spam. A high mark with a so-so comment is NOT spam. Reviews like these examples do NOT deserve being posted here!! If you do post them here, YOU will be considered the spammer!! " |

Sure is ! LR has been run amuck with mountains of spam in the forums and reviews ! While you might not care, there are LR members that have been here long enough that DO CARE !The LR forums and reviews are not for spamming. The only place you are allowed to self-promote is the General Category. And frankly I am tired of emailing the LR Admin , Mike about every spammer that wants to bomb the forums.

Here is a real self promoting spammer from the SE forum, that Asmodeus, Robert and I called out from the wood work he was hiding in. This person was also using an alias to stick up for his other name/site that he was promoting/spamming. Who is it ??? It is Michael J aka the google kid ( not to smart) and his other alias that was doing the spamming is "Professor" for trafficsmugglers.com Here is what Michael J had to say after we called him out : " Ha you got me! lol I am the professor and I am promoting my own site. LMAO come on... When I made that post I was only looking for a quick post to get my forum post in for the day. I did no research and I hardly read the post. I didn't think it would matter. Then I realized I accidentally chose a post that people discouraged. What was I going to do? I took the opportunity to argue with you guys and create some attention and get some clicks. THANKS! Worked well. :) WELL DONE! haha " Well, Michael J you just admitted to it all and now you are on the Spammers Wall of Shame ! Shame on you !!!! The response I left for Michael J in the SE forum is as follows : Well done on your part, Michael J, - your whole post is now on the LR " Spammers Wall of Shame" !!! What you have just done to yourself is the opposite of promoting your site the proper way. If you knew anything about the SE's and SEO - traffic from LR will not get you to far. Your traffic comes from the SERP ! And obviously you do not know this LR community to well - most members stay clear of spammers like you ! Laugh all you want, but here in the LR Forums we are tight knit community and are here to help others that legitimately need help, not help spammers like you. The review is so terrible and pointed directly at me I can't print. He does this repeatly in other forum posts so people click on his site. Call it the dirty nasty type of spamming. No William, this is the worst.A previous LR member actually called me on my business line, threatening me and my business numerous times, just because he did not like the review I had given him. His site was called, poopy products and was just a young, immature surfer kid from CA, who took his site to be his so called life and my review was ruining him and his whole life...LOL. This to say the least, was the weirdest experience I have ever dealt with here on LR and one I never care to experience again. And for those who are wondering...yes, this LR member was turned in and suspended by administration here. Thank goodness!!

His site was called, poopy products and was just a young, immature surfer kid from CA, who took his site to be his so called life and my review was ruining him and his whole life...LOL. This to say the least, was the weirdest experience I have ever dealt with here on LR and one I never care to experience again. And for those who are wondering...yes, this LR member was turned in and suspended by administration here. Thank goodness!! |

Marvellous idea.Do these fools really think that people are going to visit their sites?Like all of you we get visits from muppets demanding we visit their sites,click on their ads.Invariably the content in their sites is poor and badly written.Why do they bother?

Darn it! I had two folks who friggen copied my blurb from here and my site. I am kinda mad cuz I did go on their sites. I won;t lie the first one I copied and pasted his blurb on his review, and the other I gave an honest review. I am pissed now. Thanks for this, I will for sure in the future will be calling out folks.

I don't visit anyone's site when they state in their review to MY SITE, to visit theirs. They are to be giving a review regarding the site they CHOOSE to visit. So for that, they instantly go to hidden mode!!

I am surprised he hasn't been suspended yet.This is crazy. This place, at times, seems like Romper Room!! A place for children to play and ruin LR and the nature of this site for us mature, business like minded professionals, who continuously come here day after day and do good, quality reviews. There really should be different rules set forth!! SOMETHING!!
