Any Artists out there getting sales or traffic?

"Due to the LR membership, wondering if any of you artists out there are getting more visits to your sites, that are actually purchasing things?"

No Robin....that wasn't directed at you!! You're the one that originally asked the question...you are the OP (Original Poster). Your question was stolen by that idiot Farhan....he copied your question and posted it as his own!!

Look at my response again....it was HIS post that I quoted....it's his membership number there, not yours. FARHAN is the SPAMMER!!!

I find selling art work very difficult since it is not an essential service. I have sold a few things, but not anything near to what I would like. :-(

I have found that sales whether online or at artist fairs have deteriorated drastically since the economy tanked. People can only afford things they absolutely need. Hopefully, the Holiday season will bring big sales to us all!

I am new to running my own website. I launched it in February. On the home page I have an area for articles. I want to know if there is a site online where I can get sports articles to post there?

Thi is interesting, I yunderstand the issues you face and have been trying to figure out whether the fissues faced are a result of the website failing to deliver the buyers or whether buyers are reduced

Absolutely no problem Robin. I realized it was just a simple mistake. I really should have stated his name at the very beginning of my scolding!!! :-)

I agree 100%. Here in the UK recently, friends who are also artists, have said how hard the Crafts/Art Fair circuit is this year because of the recession.

Hopefully, Christmas will mean people buying more, but I don't think things will improve for us until the economy does... =(

Hi Robin,

I was just at a two day art/craft fair here in Colorado and most of the vendors didn't do very well. There were lots and lots of people, but very few were buying. Two years ago, most of us could barely keep up with the sales...people were buying left and right!!

I think we have more rough times ahead when it comes to trying to sell our products. We'll all just have to try and hand in there!

Best wishes,

Mary

what is LR membership?

Go to the top of any LR page and read the information under "What is LinkReferral?" and "FAQs". All your questions (and more) will be answered.
