promoting your business
"gosh i have read a lot of great stuff in this forum. a lot of advertisement wealth of different kinds. i have been in sales for 40 years, i was raised with a family business. on the internet there is so many different ways to promote and advertise for free. i have tried various types of free advertisements. i like to do this as it gets my site out there to be viewed by different prospects. i know that everyone is different and finds there niche. but the one bottom line that i have learned in my 40 years is "promote, promote, promote." i wish everyone much success on their business and may we all prosper and grow" |

Marilyn, Ok, so this is nice and I'm sure we all appreciated the well wishes, but what is your point?? This is the website development forum. I don't see any advice for further developing our sites. Comments and helpful tips for promoting and/or advertising our websites belong in the advertising forum area. I believe everyone on LR already knows that promoting and advertising our sites is very important to ultimate success. You really haven't shared anything that is helpful!! If you've been in sales for 40 years, I would think you'd have a heck of a lot more to teach us than the very very basic "promote, promote, promote". I'm not trying to be mean, but this was rather a disappointing post as there is nothing helpful written here. And, besides that, it appears your site is no longer on LR....I searched through all 299 Avon sites but couldn't find it!! Mary

Hi W2W...the reason I didn't think her site was still there is because when I click on review this site, absolutely nothing comes up. Also, when I try and look at the reviews she has received, nothing comes up. I can see her profile and I can open her site. But nothing when I try to review or see her reviews....it's just blank!! AND, I looked through every single Avon site and hers isn't there!! Soooo, I'm confused!! Mary :-)

I think she must have them hidden, but that is odd because it states the account is no longer active. I'm confused too :-0

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I KNOW I reviewed her Avon site in the last day or two. I gave her all thumbs up and a 10, suggesting that maybe she add her own home page to make her site personal and help it stand out from the rest of the Avon sites. My review has been deleted!! It's no longer listed under all the reviews I've given. Totally bizarre. Thanks for checking on this because I was beginning to think I'd really lost it!! :-)
