They are completely different. It's more likely you need photoshop than painter.

I am not familiar with either. I've heard of them but haven't had the time to study about them.

I actually use both of them together. I use Painter because of the different tools and the life like paint brushes, plus with my Wacom tablet I can draw free hand quicker in Painter then PS.

But I love both of them.

Photoshop is awesome and a great tool for pictures on your website. Generally speaking, I think alot of professional photoraphers use this software to edit their photos.

I use both and they both have their own advantages. My personal favourite though is GIMP. It's free and easy to use.

I'd choose Photoshop if price is not a problem. It's the standard.

Yeah, I use both programs together. They are different in a way, but they do the same thing. For me, I can draw freehand with Corel Painter X (now Painter 11) and send it to PS to add my layers or just use Painter X.

PhotoShop is good is you can learn how to use it - not easy. I like PhotoImpact. It does everything I need it to do, not that hard to learn.

Abrar !

Copying and pasting is not allowed on LR !!!

You have copied and pasted the LR rules as a forum post, PLUS !!! You are also coping and pasting the link referral rules in the reviews you are giving other members.

This nasty habit will get your membership on link referral cancelled !

I have reviewed both programs and they are good for a lot. I would still use GIMP not becouse it is free, because it is a lot easy to use and is just better for conversion and editing

I would use Photoshop instead even though corel is good. Photoshop is the standard and is actually better. This is what i currently use to design all my sites.

If you know how to use Photoshop properly and know how to use all the add ons, it is the better program. The things you can do with it is just amazing, but it takes a while to learn. If you are starting out with this type of program you may want to start with Coral.

If you learn Photoshop, it's an awesome program. It can be a complex program to learn though, it depends on your experience. If you don't have much experience with this type of software, Corel PSP is great, I have it, it's very user friendly.
