"My 3 day experience with linkreferral: - unique visitors: doubled - page visits: kept the proportion (high PV/UV) - returning visitors: slight increase These three stat indicators show an interesting trend: while the unique visitors increase was expected, the maintenance of a high PV/UV proportion indicates the site is actually being visited, and not only the home-page. Last but not least, the slight increase in returning visitors means that the system actually helps to build fidelity among "users" - in my case, information seekers. Hope this helps." |

Whilst I do find Linkreferral useful, I do find that only a small minority of the users take it seriously. A lot of the sites are bogus and the users will often use software to run the links.

In 2006, 2.72% of visitors refered by linkreferral joined my site. This year to date 3.29% of visitors refered by linkreferal joined my site. These are very good stats.

Not only do I find the traffic from link referral to be a nice plus, I'm finding it to be an enjoyable place for feedback and creativity. There's always something new to learn...and looking at everyone elses sites can only bolster that IMO :)

I have found Link Referral to be quite useful, i have exchanged several links with sites and received offers of work. I have also found several sites are quite dodgy so be careful and make sure you have good security on your computer

Using linkreferal to get unique visitors to your site is fine and is a necessary tool-and very helpful too.Another method is reciprocal links- at least someone will come back to your site to check if his link was placed-result: VISITOR. Just be carefull- google does not like too many links on a site and recommed not more than 50. You van in fact place more but install a "no follow" in your robots text file for that page.

Yes as a matter of fact if you change your url you may find that you'll be sorry. If you're new to the net and not testing you may not really realize how much traffic you are getting from this. My advice is to put your best program in here because you WILL NOT BE SORRY

Hi Marilia, Thanks for sharing your results. LinkReferral is one of my main site that I use daily without fail. I have found that it's easy to build a downline with LR, and it pays me for each member that join, free or paid. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

I think its important to point out that "hits" are not a reliable way to measure website traffic on your site. Each file sent to a browser by a web server is an individual hit however a page view occurs each time a visitor views a webpage on your site and thats what you should be looking for with regard to your stats.Hits can be good if its from someone who has, say, heard about your site and is specifically seeking you out but its page views that count in this business. It can be quite complicated but feel free to email with any questions should you have one.

I would join this thing called BNI, but i'm too young, so linkreferral has been a great help with hits. From 24 Febuary, I have had about 850 hits from linkreferral, around 23.5 per day. If that's not good than I don't know what is!

I just signed up with linkferral last week, and my traffic and amount of time people are spending in my store has increased significantly. I have sunk a lot of money into paid advertising and did not get the exposure or the success I am experiencing with this site. Its great!

I have found linkreferral.com a great link exchange program however i think that a lot of the hits recieved from it are only to the homepage and that some users do not look around further, taking it seriously. But it is a well built traffic exchange program.

Link Referral has had a strange effect for me. At first Ijust clicked and left to get my numbers. Now I am finding that I really am spending time on some sites to see what they have. So, if the same things happens to others, I think the process is good and has possibilities.

But are the hits translating to sales? Mine have to some extent, but this is a fairly time comsuming way to get traffic. But I have learned a lot looking at other sites, and I have made some sales, so it's all good! Tina What-I-Found
