John, Your site is incredible. Not only is the writing style good, the pictures are literally worth a thousand words...how is it that you can travel as you do? I want your job! Keep up the great work and I have added you to my favorites...I will be back often. Thanks for letting the rest of us see the world even if we cannot get out there ourselves!

Thanks to everyone for your comments! It makes it all worthwhile :-)In response to Karen, as to how I can do this. I spent 17 years in the same(software design and programming) job. I had decided to jack it in and go to Spain on my bike, as the company changed following takeover. I had saved enough for a while in Spain, then our head office broke the terrible news that they were closing our office and making us all redundant - I had to stop myself cheering at this point!, and the statutory redundancy and notice pay doubled my savings!

Great Blog you've got goin' on there buddy John! I've ridden a 650 Yammy Special in the past and I KNOW what kind of boost that gives to ANY trip, compared to car travel! ;-) I'm limited forever to Canadian soil, so Thank You for tourin' me around Spain with ya dude, felt like I was there... :-)) Are you going to continue yer neat blog buddy?
