I use facebook, myspace, directconnect, linkedin, and linkreferral to name just a few, to market and advertise my websites. I have received many referrals from all of these places as well as several new friendships for both business and personal.

Has anyone heard of yuwie? Sort of like a facebook or mysapce...a friend of mine belongs to it and told me to join. I've tried twitter for not only my site but for my non-proft org. and it doesn't work. Maybe some home-based business forums that allow you to post links...?

Yuwie was huge last year and one of the "trend" sites, but it kinda died once people realized that you really wouldn't make anymore than a few cents unless you had maybe 10,000 friends, and even then there are much easier ways to make real money online.

try ptc sites i make $1,000 a month after i got 4 referrals from these two sites and use that money to redirect traffic to my website. its simple and i will even give you a free referral within your first week. please just don't make the mistake of cashing out at $1,000 dollars. use that money to redirect traffic to your website. i double my income everytime. here's the ptc sites i use. http://www.grandptc.com/index.php?ref=allbuisness http://www.richptc.com/index.php?ref=allbuisness

I have an adult toy website which is fairly new and I am advertising a litte bit of everywhere, myspace, twitter, facebook, several link exchanges but not one sale yet. Honestly, you picked the wrong niche. Adult sex toy stores with that generic template look are a dime a dozen on the internet. Adult webmasters are ditching their stores in droves because they just don't pay well.Sure, there is still LOTS of money to be made in adult content, but not with the generic toy stores. Sorry to have to give you the bad news.

I'm going to start using www.buysellads.com. Almost all free sites give you nothing in return in terms of orders. You need unique customers everyday to receive orders and that means to receive money. You're not going to get there using free sites.
