Posting on forums that focus on your business, blogs help. I started a petition on-line once and in 3 days had over 500 signatures by just posting the link on forums.

Excellent reply James !The best place to advertise for traffic conversion/sales/customers/visitors are the search engines. Work on the proper optimizing of your site pages for the SE's and it will pay off !

Well this is a really simple topic to answer... the answer is..... LR!!! I created viral-link-exchange.info on Oct1. On Oct 3 I listed it in LR. On Oct 4 I had received over 100 hits from LR. In fact I have quiet a few sites listed here and every one of them gets over 100 hits a day just from LR. So I would say... First a brand new site the most instant gratification is this site!
