Paying to Have People Click on Your Ads???
"I posted this in another string and no one replied so I thought I might try here. I am new to this and wondered if it works to pay to have your page listed on a site that then requires their members to click on an ad sense ads in your page? I belong to a site like that and I just click ads to build up points to advertise my own pages, but it seems that is would be a wash if you pay to get clicks that you get paid to get. I wondered why anyone would do this. Do advertisers like AdSense even allow this or is it against their rules?" |

Paying people to click on ads that you get paid for is against the adsense rules. Besides it just doesn't make sense. Apparently even listing a site with adsense on a traffic exchange is also against the rules, although this is a good way to build up traffic to your site. Depending on your client, you may be able to temporarily disable adsense if traffic exchanges are the route you want to go.

Thanks for your responses. I never really even thought about it being against Adsense rules. I just thought it seemed stupid to pay someone to click ads so you can get paid. I guess there must be some profit in it or they wouldn't do it. Now that you all told me this I am trying to think if I have my blog, (which is my only page with Adsense) on any exchanges. I hope not!

This is why Adsense don't trust nobody. It's just plain stupid to even try something like this. You might as well go to the bank and pull a stick up with no mask. In other words Adsense will know and will ban you. Read this post, it's just sad. http://www.linkreferral.com/forumlist.pl?cat_id=9&topic_id=48703&search_term=&profile=

Believe me, Google will disable your Adsense account quicker than you can say "WTF happened?" But they will wait until just before it's time to pay you just to make sure you waste as much time as possible.

It's only against ADSENSE rules to ask people to click on your ads.PTC sites where you get paid to view ads are fine.

It's against Adsense policy to pay people to click on your ads. It's against most advertising sites to pay people to click on your ads. Its usually because people only click on the ad to get money.
