Traffic exchanges are a great way to get traffic to your site. They are not great for getting people to actually read what you have written or to make sales as most people on traffic exchanges are just concerned to build up their own traffic.

Build up their traffic for What ???Your traffic comes from the search engines results page ( SERP). SE's do not count the traffic from TE's, since it is not ORGANIC Traffic. Artificial traffic will not get you noticed, nor a good SERP placement in the SE's.

Traffic exchanges is a good way to get hits to your site is about it. The problem is you can not use a whole website on a traffic exchange or your blog unless you just trying to get hits to help you boost it up. Most people that know how to use traffic exchanges make squeeze pages or slash pages because you have only so many seconds to make a impact versus a whole web page where they got to read the whole page to get the impact of what ever you got to offer. There are many ways to advertise and I would focus on them and not traffic exchanges you can spend hours and days doing traffic exchanges and get hits but as soon as the timer up that person off to earn more credits and there no sale nor sign up. If you think there all great blah blah I would recommend to use splash pages maybe even a lead capture page as long as it short but to be honest you can spend your time and efforts in doing other ways to advertise and make 3 times the amount by far then you will wasting time with traffic exchanges but that only what i think.

I find sometimes the fact that I am shoving an entire website in their face instead of a splash page actually makes them slow down and take a look......just because it's unexpected

ok put it like this if how much conversion are you really making off them?If you are lucky you might turn 50% conversion rate and that a big if and is why i say it only good for a hit count but you can sit there and waste time on them getting credits and so on.There to many more effective ways to market online traffic exchanges being the least I rather post in a classified ad lol
