Yes most all of us are "the small online business" people. All of us fight everyday to get visitors, maybe paying visitors(yah) If you really want to learn how the "big" guys do it. They brand themselves. Create an eye catching logo design and market it. Start an email campaign or social campaign where you can display that logo so that people relate to it. Give them a reason to come back and also to spread the word about what you have or do. Until you create a following you will struggle
