The site itself is quite good so why have a splash/landing page that isn't?.
response: Thanks a lot for your review and highlighting the issue of landing page. my purpose was to give a slide show there. But you were correct. as of now, since the slides are not ready with me, I may not have that page. that creates unnecessary clutter. As per your advice, I have removed the page. I came to the website thinking that it was what it describes itself as: a platform for lesser heard voices. I was disappointed to find out when it wasn't that, at least not from what I saw. For example, I looked up the term 'Gay' on your search box and it came up empty handed. I think that the description of the website should be changed to match what it really is. Other than that, though, the website looks great..

Thanks a lot for your honest comments. WHile I completely agree with you, I should also add that the site is in its making and there are only a few articles uploaded so far. More than that the specific subjects mentioned by you needs some expertise on a multidimensional field "gender Studies". I sincerely confess that our writers may be lacking expertise as well as an orientation in the field. You are most welcome to contribute (even reproduce with references) articles on topics related to sexual preferences, homosexuality and so on. However, your comments provoked me to change one of the section titles from "Women" to "Gender Issues". Looking forward getting some articles on the area. Also with your permission I would like to post this comment of yours along with a link to your site on my site. Thanks a lot for your comments.

Very engaging content. the site is a little confusing with different fonts for different articles. A clear statement on the home page about the purpose of the site would be helpful..
