I have a few websites, but one is very graphic intensive and has a lot of images on it (which are the members images that they own and have made)
Now, not so much worried about the copyright issue, but I found a site recently that has hotlinked to a LOT of our images. (basically using our bandwidth.)
Now I have emailed the admin of the site (it's a forum site, so he isn't the one who has done it, one of his members has) and hopefully he will resolve the issue by either taking down the posts where our images are, or suggest some other method of posting to the user who linked them into the forums.
Now my question is, has anyone here had any problems re this kind of thing, and if so, what tactics did you use to resolve it?
I don't want to add code to my site to prevent the hotlinking....its a real pain to do :(
I've seen pictures around the net before that have been hotlinked from my website, but this site has nearly 50 of our images!
